Estonian phrase translation correction.

here it is:
ma vajan panna see raamat sellesse riiulisse.

it's supposed to mean:
I want to put this book in this bookshelf.

is this right?

Somehow, "ma vajan panna" looks a bit wierd to me, but "ma tahan panna" is ok. I'm not a native though...

I'm afraid it's a little too late but here's the truth from an Estonian:
ma vajan panna see raamat sellesse riiulisse.

In Estonian this sounds unnatural, but it is totally understandable.

I want to put this book in this bookshelf = ma tahan panna selle raamatu sellesse riiulisse. <sorry, to be exact riiul=shelf and raamaturiiul=bookshelf, but I mean here our meaning is rather obvious isn't it >

yes, ma vajan means I need.
see raamat is correct, but it is this book in nominative. what we use in this case is genitive.

ma vajan panna does not exist - except in jargon perhaps. meaning I need a lay. yep, vulgar.
