Re: Translation in sanskrit
a litteral translation could be:
आग्नेयेशः āgneyeśaḥ.
आग्नेयेश्वरः āgneyeśvaraḥ.
आग्नेयेशः āgneyeśaḥ.
आग्नेयेश्वरः āgneyeśvaraḥ.

Re: Translation in sanskrit
Hey pc2,
Thanks for your help. Can I ask you what the difference is between the two translations?
I have also did some research and found the following:
Fiery: तिग्म : tigma
Lord: स्वामिन् : svaamin
Could you also use these two?

Re: Translation in sanskrit
salutations,
you're welcome. we believe you could also use "tigma" and "svaamin". but we are not very sure.
actually, it depends on the context. according to our dictionary, "tigma" means "fiery", but in the sense of "sharp", or even "violent".
the expression "fiery lord", using these words, would be:
तिग्मस्वामी
tigmasvāmī
"aagneya" is a direct translation of "fiery", "that which is related to fire".
if you want "fiery" in the sense of "brilliant, splendid, glorious", you can use "tejasvin":
तेजस्वीशः
tejasvīśaḥ
तेजस्वीश्वरः
tejasvīśvaraḥ
तेजस्विस्वामी
tejasvisvāmī

Can I have the translation in sanskrit for the word ANGEL please? Thanks
Re: Translation in sanskrit
it depends on the sense. if you want to translate it in the sense of "a messenger of the gods", it could be translated as:dkey971 wrote:Hello my name is Dominik and I need your help for a tatoo.

देवदूतः devadūtaḥ (male, but doesn't necessarily denote gender, we think)
देवदूती devadūtī (female)
if you want to translate it in the sense of "a dear one", you could translate it as:
प्रियः priyaḥ (referring to a man)
प्रिया priyā (referring to a woman)
or the possibility below (literally, "most dear one to me"):
मे प्रियतमः me priyatamaḥ (referring to a man)
मे प्रियतमा me priyatamā (referring to a woman)
