I have some Welsh nationality and I wanted to have a saying in Welsh tattooed on my ankle to remind me to be true to myself. I tried to find the saying in Welsh and found a few different translations. I want to make sure to get the correct translation so I don't get something wrong tattooed on me.
The saying is this: "In all things, you must be true to your self."

"Mewn popeth, maent rhaid fod yn fyddlon i eich hunan"
or of course, you can have the old welsh favourite of
"Heb Dduw, Heb Ddafad, Heb Ddafad Heb Ddim"
Although the second isn't really a translation of your original question...it sort of means the same to a welshman. It means without god there are no sheep, without sheep we have nothing....
