I believe that "näkemiin" is a finnish word. What does it mean in english?

I've looked harder, and found a translation on the web:

Results for finnish word: "n*kemiin"
1 näkemiin goodbye
2 näkemiin see you later
3 näkemiin see you soon
4 näkemiin so long

I'm sorry to have wasted your time.

You're right, "näkemiin" means "goodbye" in Finnish. However, I would translate "see you later" and "so long" by "nähdään" and "see you soon" by "nähdään pian". Note that "näkemiin" is quite formal, people usually say "hei hei" or "moi moi". And if you want to say goodbye when you're on the phone, you have to say "kuulemiin".
