Know a good foreign name for a cat with no tail?

Hope, you were able to resist the chocolate cake. I wasn't!
Please allow me to correct a mistake you made: dare is never followed by a gerund. It is either a modal ( he daren't ask them) or a verb (he doesn't dare to ask them). The modal has no simple past form. So: Why didn't you dare to ask them. I' ve also heard: why didn't you dare ask them.

Hello and

Excuse me everybody, but how exactly is this helping Alison in her quest?

She has a cat with no tail (can't be helped), and still without a name (can be). Come on linguists!!

Well she was offered 8 different names and she hasn't even made any comment, so it's normal that we end up talking with each other... :-?
