Spring = reu-doo-bai-mai-pli
In Thai characters: ฤดูใบไม้ผลิ. Word for word: "season when the leaves bud".
daraxt wrote:Summer = reu-doo-ron
Winter = reu-doo-nao
OK. Phonetics for what I wrote in my previous post (hot season, cool season).
daraxt wrote:Fall, Autumn = ru-doe-baj-maj-roewang

OK. Phonetics for ฤดูใบไม้ร่วง (should be something like reu-doo-bay-may-re-wang). Word for word: season when the leaves fall.

So this is the second option, translation word for word of "our" (your!) 4 seasons. ;)

En agrandissant beaucoup les caractères thaï, je vois que mes copier-coller sont infidèles. De petites modifications. Quand je dis petites, c'est en toute ignorance. Ce sont peut être des énormités.
Beaumont, s'il te plait, quel alphabet utilises-tu ?
(word prétend 'Angsana New', mais il y a des différences)
Merci.

Sorry, :confused:
I asked a question in french again.
It is difficult for me to write in thaï. My PC doesn't make it easier.
After having observed several alphabets, I believe that graphics alone vary. It is not at all obvious, an unknown writing.

I don't use any font, I use a virtual keyboard and Unicode encoding (the font is Tahoma). Do you want me to send you a Word document by email? If so, what version of Word do you have and what seasons do you want (3 Thai seasons, 4 occidental seasons)?

Daraxt, nice job but I am not sure if you speak Cantonese, Japonese,
Afrikaans, Armenian and other ?

Do you know all these languages or you took the translations on a
site and Amharic is an African language speak in Ethiopia but you did
a nice work with the seasons.

Dutch / Néerlandais: lente, zomer, herfst, winter
Portuguese / Portugais: primavera, estio, outono, inverno
Tagalog: tagsibol, tag-aráw, tag-lagás, taggináw/taglamíg
Czech / Tchèque: jaro, léto, podzim, zima
Turkish / Turc: bahar, yaz, güz/sonbahar, kiş

I found these translations in a dictionary we have at work, and as I don't speak those languages, needless to say I can't say whether or not the translations are correct!

Thanks ever so much every one. I can paint "tavasz, nyár, ősz, tél" (p2) evrywhere.
Don't worry, I am not thinking about tags.

Thank you,
:hello:
If you write the whole words in capitals, you're ok, but if you don't, don't forget that in English, the names of seasons, as well as months and the days of the week all start with capitals. I just thought I would mention it since you didn't capitalise them in the tittle.

Good point Gramie but Bernadette, do not forget that in German, the ß
do not exist in capital letters.

You need to change it by SS soyou are warned.

I just realized I didn't react as I should have, looking at my nick (Soleil = Sun for who doesn't understand French), so here it goes:

Bernadette, you probably will have enough languages to paint just "Summer" and forget the other seasons :loljump:

Sorry, I had to ("c'était plus fort que moi = I coulnd't help saying it)!
