Comprendre un testament en anglais

Post by ace »

Bonjour,

1) I give free of all inheritance or capital transfer tax in priority to all other bequests and devises to my wife
I give free of all inheritance or capital transfer tax to my trustees who shall hold the same and the income therefrom upon trust to pay (so far as the same may extend) for the ...

3)I give to my trustees my share of the house that becomes the main family home upon trust to sell the same (but with full power to postpone such a sale) and to hold the net rents and profits and the net income from proceeds of the sale in trust for my wife my trustees shall hold the said house or other dewelling-house for the time being held by them upon the trusts of this gift or the net proceeds of sale or the investments for the time representing the same upon the trusts je donne la part de la maison à mes enfants qui devient le foyer familial principal pour qu'ils la vendent et après je décroche un peu entre net rents et profits et net income

3) to sell call in and convert the same into money with full power in their absolute and uncontrolled discretion to postpone such sale calling in for so long a period as they shall think fit without being responsible for loss
shall hold the net proceeds of such sale calling in for the time being remaining unconverted

4) I declare that there shall no apportionment of income as at my death all income from my estate shall be treated and applied as income from whatever source or class of investment or property the same shall arise and even if the property in respect of which the income arises is sold for the payment of my debts or for other purposes and whatever the period may be in respect of which the income shall have accrued and that no property not actually producing income shall be treated as producing income. apportionment répartition du revenu ? que veut-il dire par arise ?

Bonjour,

Dans la deuxième phrase, j'aurais fait un autre découpage : my trustees, who shall hold the same and the income therefrom (virgule), upon trust to pay for XYZ.
