"There is no tiger" -- translate to any and all languages

Post by Texoex » 08 Sep 2017 03:42

A young friend of mine has anxiety attacks.

When he feels an attack coming, his therapist suggests that he repeat to himself the phrase "There is no tiger" -- meaning, there is no real threat.

My friend is a linguistics major in college and loves learning foreign languages.

I want to create a poster for his room that contains the phrase "There is no tiger" in as many languages as possible.

If you can help, I would be very appreciative.

Patti

Japanese: 虎はありません (tora wa arimasen)
You can eventually add the particle よ (yo) at the end of the sentence to reinforce your statement.

If anyone cares to add any other languages to the results below, I will happily include them. Otherwise I will make the poster with what I have. I know my friend will be thrilled.
