peace in different languages
I am looking for the translation of the word "peace" in 392 languages. Any languages are great. We'd like the translation in the native alphabet if possible. Can you help? This is for the School of Metaphysics, a not-for-profit educational organization in the United States. We are putting together a peace calendar. We are also dedicating the World's First Peace Dome at the College of Metaphysics in Windyville, MO, October 11, 2003. Please send replies to som@som.org.
I think you should go there, it is an excellent site :

Peace in Tagalog
Kapayapaan is the word for peace in Tagalog. Pau is for Catalan.
Mine comes from www.airliners.netIvo wrote:Belive it or not I like VERY much YOUR avtar.
I stole mine from another forum
Anyway I'm now closing this topic, since the original poster doesn't seem much interested in our answers, and I prefer gathering the words on a dedicated web page. So please see www.freelang.net/expressions/peace.html for the word peace in many languages. If you have new contributions or if you want to correct a mistake, please send me an email.
Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so.
