. Je préfère aussi le "mamma"... Ca ressemble plus à la prononciation du mot "mama" d'un enfant qui veut dire "Je veux manger" .didine wrote:Usage très, très marginal. On dira plutôt "äiti".arkayn wrote:finnois : mamma

in traditional chinese:媽媽
in simplified chinese 妈妈
it just reads"ma ma"
and mummy is "妈咪"(SIMPLIFIED)
媽咪(TRADITIONAL)
hey,i found sth interesting here.
when i type in simplified input,it doesn;t have the whole phrase,it needs to be typed one by one.
however the phrase does exist in traditional chinese input.
i guess coz mummy itself is borrowed from english, and it is first used in area like hk,or canton of china since they were opened to the world early.and now it is so. a lotta cantonese and ppl from hk like to say"mummy",however the ppl from northern or other parts of china don't really say mummy.they say"娘"(niang) or sth else. (but娘 seems to be outdate, coz the word is usually seen in the acient chinese film,if u use it today, ppl may think that u r kinda humourous and funny, but anyway there's always someone keepin niang on~lol)
PS:oh,yep,母亲(mu qin) means mother, mother is a formal word in english, and 母亲here is the same.

En mongol :

Re: Maman dans toutes les langues
en sanscrit:
माता mātā.
अम्बा ambā.
si on veut dire "maman!", avec le sens d'appellation, on doit utiliser le vocatif:
मातः mātah, अम्बे ambe.

Un peu HS mais j'aime beaucoup ton "s'on" alors que l'élision n'arrive qu'avec "il".
