family, guardian and fairy in all languages

Post by Superinge »

Hi,

I just became godmother and aunt of a beautiful little boy, called "Rune". I would like it to call me something else than the boring Dutch "doopmeter", I want him to see me as a protector, a guardian, or maybe a good luck fairy. We all like Scandinavian and Celtic sounds, names and languages, so please help us.

I myself am also pregnant, I'm expecting this wonder in june. So I would like my child to name our family (his grandmothers, grandfathers, godmother, godfather, aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces) a bit special and original.

I am very enthousiastic about this site. Thanks.

I've been trying to get beautiful names to let my little, newborn cousin, to call me. I"m his godmother since two weeks, but I'm not catholic. So I am looking for a translation of "guardian" or "guardian angel" in lots of languages.

Thanks
Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so.
