help me pour petite traduction [anglais]

Post by goodvibs »

Bonjour à tous!!
Je constate avec horreur que mon anglais est bien...disons faible pour etre gentil!
Est ce que quelqu'un peut m'aider pour la traduction du texte ci dessous?
J'ai fait un essai:

Steve Fosset has to take off Monday evening with 23h45 of the airport of salina in Kansas with an aim of trying the record of the world of the turn of the world in the plane without stopover. The preceding record was 8 days and Steve fosset will try to beat it with one 36 hours duration envisaged for a way of 37000km. Record held by the brother of the originator of this very particular machine (resembling a trimaran without veil). The famous Richard Torch, owner of Virgin Atlantic, finance this forwarding. They had already joined to try the turn of the world in balloon and their record succeeded although they risked their lives with several unfruitful attempts. But the adventure is likely to fail because of a lack of fuel which has a still unknown cause.

Steve Fosset took off on Monday night at 23H45 from Salina airport in Kansas aiming at establishing the world record for flying round the world without stopover. The preceding world record was of 8 days and Steve Fosset will try to beat it in an estimated 36 hours for a journey of 37,000 km. That record is detained by the brother of the designer of this very particular machine (that looks like a trimaran without sails). The famous Richard Brandon, boss of Virgin Atlantic, finances the expedition. They had already been associates when attempting to fly around the world in a hot air balloon, and they had succeeded to beat the record after several failed attempts that put their lives at risk. But the adventure could fail because of a shortage of fuel that has unknown reasons.
