Tu ne nous laisse même pas le plaisir de trouver le pays, bon, c'est vrai il n'y avait pas beaucoup de suspens (encore que Myanmar, Malaisie, Singapour, Indonésie, Brunei, c'eut été plausible).

C'est donc bien Sanphet Prasat à Ancient City (Meuang Boran). Ancient City est un site où on peut admirer des répliques ou des reconsitutions grandeur nature de monuments provenant de toute la Thailande.

The Sanphet Prasat palace represented the splendor that was Ayutthaya. Built by King Phra Boromatrai Lokanat during the height of Ayutthaya's power, the palace, from its foundation to its highest pinnacle, embraced all the unique characteristics of the art and architecture of the period.

The Sanphet Prasat palace was the site of many important court functions, including coronation ceremonies and receptions for foreign dignitaries until the structure was put to the torch during the fall of Ayutthaya in 1767 A.D.

The Ancient City replicated this palace from surviving plans of the original structure and from the testimony of Thai and foreign archaeological and historical documents, including research on the art of Ayutthaya. On 11 February, 1972, their Majesties the King and Queen of Thailand received Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip in the Sanphet Prasat palace at the Ancient City. Such a propitious event was a blessing on the site and marks the official opening date of the Ancient City.

Il occupe une position stratégique.
En plus il a été le cadre du tournage de plusieurs films sur la piraterie dont un inspiré d'un roman de jules Verne.

Pour Jules Verne,une petite recherche m'a permis de retrouver le titre de son roman : Le phare du bout du monde.

Ce phare en question se trouve dans le Cap Horn.

Le problème reste à trouver son nom...

Mais si je me trompe,dis-moi.
