:-? Ego tamen haud perfecte intellegi quod dixerit Wavl... Numquis potest sermonem ejus in linguam aliquam (francogallicam vel anglicam) vertere ?

(=est-ce que quelqu'un pourrait me traduire ce qu'a dit Wavl / could someone translate what Wavl had said ?)

:jap: At sit tibi gratus adventus, o Wavl, qui vellis latinam linguam noscere.

"saluts. ce que me plaît au sujet du latin est savoir que ma langue [espagnol] vient de cette belle langue. il me motive fortement par savoir: comme en parler, écouter, penser? finalement, ce me plairait pouvoir parler en latin, même quelques mots ou phrases comme:
'quid novi'
'nosce te ipsum'
mais j'aimerais savoir choses comme: 'au revoir', ou 'c'est heure du déjeuner'."

I have a little citation that I would like to translate into Latin. Can someone help me? The citation is in French tho. Do you need it in English? It's for a tattoo.

Thanks a lot!

salutations,

you can post it in French, but we think it would be better for you to post it in English too. but you need to post the citation first so someone can translate it.

salutations,

Okay :)

So, in french it's / en français c'est : "Pour vous débarasser d'une tentation, cédez-y".

And in english, to be honnest, I'm not sure how to translate it / Pour être honnête, je ne suis pas certaine de la traduction anglaise :(

Je vous remercie à l'avance mille fois!

could the English version be: "to get rid of a temptation, give up."?
if this is the case, we have the following suggestion for Latin:
"ut temptationem abicias, ei cede."

we will give our translation, but it would be better for you to wait for a Latin specialist to confirm.

1 - propriam vitam tuam vive, quoniam propriam mortem tuam morieris.
2 - nunquam amati tui cordem offende.
