Latin Accents?

Post by Mithrandir »

Hey, I'm back, this time as a member, and I'm still working on that light-forsaken short story! :zoum: This time though, its not Old English I was concerned about. Instead I was wondering if any one knew what sort of accent a native latin-speaker would have. A strange question, perhaps, but if anyone has any idea and would be so kind as to describe it to me, it would be great!

Do you talk about the accents that a person has or the accents on the
letters like ô è ü and many others ? I do not understand your
needs... if you can explain...

probably a bit like an Italian speaker today?
but no sh and ch sound in Latin so these in another language would be s, ts
and long and short vowels would follow Latin rules and not those of the other language...
most probably word order would be peculiar too, a bit Yoda-like perhaps :D
