Language names in all languages

Post by Beaumont »

Just added a list of many world languages with a translation of the name from English into the local name.

For instance:
Spanish - Español
THAI ภาษาไทย

From English: Language names in their own language

The translation for the Tibetan language is not exact.
དབུས་སྐད། is for the dialect of the Ü area (དབུས་).
The standard tibetan is named བོད་སྐད། [phø\ke], with བོད་ (Tibet) and སྐད། (language).

Allemand - Deutsch
Latin - Latina
Grec ancien (attique) - ἡ ἑλληνικὴ γλῶττα
Grec ancien (koinè) - ἡ ἑλληνικὴ γλῶσσα

For Sanskrit, the transliterations of the names given in the list, if you want them, are "saṃskṛtam / saṃskṛtā vāk" (in IAST transliteration scheme) and "saMskRRitam / saMskRRitA vAk" (in ITRANS transliteration scheme).

Another name for the Sanskrit language in Sanskrit is संस्कृता भाषा (IAST: saṃskṛtā bhāṣā; ITRANS: saMskRRitA bhAShA).
Merci de corriger notre français si nécessaire.
