The trick is that I know how to form the partitive but I don't remember the exact rules. This is what happens when you start mastering a language, you can apply the rules without remembering what they actually state. I don't have my Estonian grammar book here, but I'll have it next week. If it's not too late for you then, I can give you a precise list of rules on how to form the Estonian partitive.

but the genitive is formed by basically adding a vowel to the stem?
e. g. : EESTI KEEL(Estonian) EESTI KEELE(Of the Estonian).
this is nice because all this time searching for forums and discussion groups(before finding Lokanova) we were frustated, because we thought the partitive was irregular. you was the only person in all over the Internet that has given us an information like this one.
