Poster slogan - English to pretty much any language possible

Post by Ushanka »

I have created a "motivational" poster for children. It says:

Image

Sorry about the quality, it was a rushed scan. It was originally created as fan art for El Goonish Shive, a webcomic, but I thought it was just so awesome that I needed to share it with the world. Now, I am trying to get this message translated so that children all over the world can be motivated (read: terrified). I'd also like the onomatopoeic equivalent of "hoot" for the translations, but that is unnecessary.

Here are the languages I have translated it into right now. If you find a mistake, please point it out.
Spanish: LEE o el búho te va a comer (the owl says "uu")
Okay, so it's only one language right now. But hopefully it'll be more soon!

czech : ČTI ! Nebo sova te sní

note : "zožerie" in slovak is rather rude, I for one would rather use - as the equivalent in czech - "zje"

and the owl sounds the same in CZ as in SVK

romanian : CITEŞTE ! Sau bufniţa o să te manînce
and in romanian the howl goes "buuuuu"
You may feel alone when you’re falling asleep
And every time tears roll down your cheeks
But I know your heart belongs to someone you’ve yet to meet
Someday you will be loved

portugais: leia, ou a coruja vai te comer.
sanscrit: पठ नो चेद् त्वा भक्ष्यत्युलूकः paTha no ced tvaa bhakSyatyuluukaH
NOTE: the uppercase T is a retroflex/cerebral sound (like the normal t, but with the tongue rolled back). the uppercase S is a retroflex s. the final uppercase H is an aspiration called Visarga.
Merci de corriger notre français si nécessaire.
