J'ai sous les yeux des "comics" d'un journal anglophone et je ne comprends pas la chute d'un Calvin et Hobbes. L'un des personnages dit:

"Man. You'd think the guy eating the worms would be calling the shots."
L"autre répond: "Usually, if you're calling any shots at all, you're not eating worms".

c'est le terme calling the shots qui me pose problème.

et dans un autre le mot "catnip"

Catnip c'est un martinet.
Pour "to call the shots" j'ai trouvé "mener la barque", "commander".

Je comprends mieux maintenant, mais bon, on doit pas avoir le même humour avec l'auteur
