j'aimerais savoir s'il y a des fautes dans les questions ci-dessous que je devrai poser aux autres élèves de ma classe après avoir présenté un exposé.

Je viens de voir dans le dico que "to resemble" existe en anglais, mais je l'avais jamais entendu avant!
Je te conseille d'utiliser "to look like", c'est beaucoup plus courant.

J'ai du vérifier aussi... il est vrai que "to look like" est moins formel que "to resemble" dont je rapelle au passage qu'il ne requiert pas de préposition => to resemble sth

Que voulez-vous dire par ici, Sinette ? Ce qu'ils font présentement avec leurs téléphones portables, ou bien l'usage qu'ils en font régulièrement ? Je suggére d'utiliser plutôt le présent simple : What do teen(ager)s do with their cell phones?


3)What did technologies do these last years ? ( réponse : technologies has grown)
L'usage du passé simple indique une action qui est arrivée à un moment précis. Pour demander ce qu'elles ont fait sur une période de temps prolongée, on utilisera plutôt le passé parfait (avec l'auxiliaire "to have") : What have technologies done during the last years? Ou alors de façon plus générale : What has technology done...

Quant à la réponse, technologies = they, donc : Technologies have grown.


8)What is the principal effect of TV on healthy child development ?
En anglais, "principal" est un nom, et ça signifie "directeur d'école". En anglais, principal se dit "main", donc : What is the main effect of TV on healthy child development?

Je suggère la suppression du pluriel : en français, on ne dirait pas "Quelle(s) est/sont la/les façon(s) d'envoyer un/des message(s) subtil(s) aux adolescents"...

L'avantage de quoi, d'en posséder un ? Si c'est le cas, je suggère de reformuler la question : What is the advantage of possessing an iPod or MP3 player?
Si j'ai mal compris, ou alors le contexte est ambigu, la question peut être correcte, mais ça dépend...

Petite erreur de frappe ici : What sort of...


Je signale au passage que partout où il est écrit Mp3, il faudrait remplacer ceci par MP3, avec un P majuscule.

À titre d'information, au Royaume-Uni, on dira "mobile phone" au lieu de "cell phone" (j'ai un ami qui y vit et qui me l'a dit), et on écrira "to criticise au lieu de "to criticize", aussi peut-être conviendrait-il donc d'ajuster l'ortographe en fonction du public visé.

dYShock, pour la question 1, je veux dire ce qu'ils en font régulièrement.
Pour la 10, c'est parce que le MP3 a un avantage particulier : on peut le prendre avec nous et donc écouter de la musique n'importe où. Donc je pense que ma question convient plus dans ce sens.
Pour ce qui est de "cell phone" et "mobile phone" ou bien de "criticize" cela n'a pas d'importance pour ma prof je pense.
