The objective: to write an old fairy tale in as many languages as possible.

The rules: I write the first sentence in english, one of you writes the next one in some other language, and so on.

The first fairy tale: Goldylocks (or Goldilocks) and the three bears. For those of you who don't know the tale or who don't remember it, please see: http://www.ongoing-tales.com/SERIALS/ol ... locks.html

First sentence: Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Goldilocks.

Egun batez, ohiturik bezala, bere amaren etxeko atzean zeuden basora zihoan paseatzera.

A porta da casiña estaba aberta. ¿Hai alguén na casa? -preguntou Godilock. Mais non houbo resposta.

(The door of the little house was open. Is there anyone at home? -asked Godilock. But she didn't get any answer.)

You're right, it's a "mixture"

I'm translating into Galician, which is a language spoken in the Northwestern part of Spain, in the same way as Catalan or Basque in other parts of the country.
