In Spanish

knight = caballero / caballo (in chess game)
protector = protector / defensor
protection = protección
guardian = guardián / custodio (guardian angel = ángel guardián or ángel custodio). Could also be "tutor"
guard = guardia / vigilante / vigía

caretaker = conserje / portero / celador (synonym of janitor). Could also be "criado" (if synonym of servant) or "cuidador" (synonym of childminder). That is why it is important to know the context.
sunrise = salida del sol / amanecer
sunset = puesta de sol / crepúsculo (if synonym of twilight) / ocaso
daydream = ensueño / ensoñación (nouns) / to daydream = soñar despierto / fantasear
Guten Tarte! Sorry for the time...

In Greek:
knight=ιππότης (ippotis)
protector=προτέκτορας/προστάτης(protektoras/prostatis)
protection=προστασία(prostasia)
guardian =φύλακας(filakas)
guard=φρουρός(frouros)

caretaker=φροντιστής(frontistis)
sunrise=ανατολή(anatoli)
sunset=δύση/ηλιοβασίλεμα(disi/iliovasilema)
daydream=ονειροπολώ(oniropolo)

" Head in the clouds" hmm let me think,I have two expressions for that one ^_^: "Τα μυαλά στα σύννεφα"(Ta miala sta synnefa)or"Tα μυαλά στα κάγκελα"(Ta miala sta kagela)and I suggest you use the first one,it's more formal^_^

in Brazilian Portuguese:
knight: cavaleiro.
protector: protetor.
protection: proteção.
guardian: guardião.
guard: guarda, vigia, sentinela.

caretaker: guarda, vigia (in the sense of "guard"); zelador (in the sense of "janitor").
sunrise: nascer do Sol.
sunset: pôr do Sol.
daydream: as a noun: devaneio; as a verb ("to daydream"): sonhar acordado.

"head in the clouds": in Brazil, at least in the city where we live, an equivalent idiomatic expression for the phrase "his head is in the clouds" would be "ele está no mundo da lua" (which literally means "he is in the world of the moon").

sunrise : lever de soleil
sunset : coucher de soleil

And the phrase, or an equivalent, 'head in the clouds'.
=> it's almost the same in French : "la tête dans les nuages"

For 'caretaker', I mainly just wanted 'someone who cares for'. Something like how a mother or father, or even a spouse or friend, would take care of you, like if you were sick.

I'm not really sure if that breaks it down any better :sweat:

Thanks for all the translations so far!

In French maybe: soutien (de famille)? = the person in charge (of the family) financially - there are surely better solutions in French relating to sickness and not money, I hope someone will have an idea.
