Je vais vous présenter quelques phrases en anglais, j'aimerai savoir, si c'est correct ou non par rapport à la phrase de départ :

Someone found an old silent movie dating back from 1898
Je propose : A old silent movie dating back from 1898 was found.

They introduced sound in 1927
Je propose : The sound is introduced in 1927 .

They shoot most of the scenes in a studio.
Je propose : Most of the scenes in a studio is shoot.

They must invest big sums of money.
Je propose : Big sums of money are investing.

They will use a computer program.
Je propose : A computer program will be used.

Technicians have discovered a new way of colouring black and white films.
Je propose : A new way of [...] films have been discovered (discovering?)

They are designing new special effects.
Je propose : New special effects are being designed.

Je remercie tout le monde, certaines phrases qui sont ici notées sont forcément idiotes, de part la réponse que l'on doit mettre et d'autre part, par la réponse que j'ai mise, mais bon, je n'arrive pas trop à ce point de grammaire, c'est étrange.

Faudra que quelqu'un relise, mais il me semble que:

They introduced sound in 1927
Je propose : The sound is introduced in 1927 .

ta phrase de départ est au passé, donc l'autre devrait l'être aussi:
The sound was introduced in 1927.

They shoot most of the scenes in a studio.
Je propose : Most of the scenes in a studio is shoot.

Most of the scenes were shooted in a studio.

They must invest big sums of money.
Je propose : Big sums of money are investing.

Big sums of money are invested (sinon c'est pas du passif )

Technicians have discovered a new way of colouring black and white films.
Je propose : A new way of [...] films have been discovered (discovering?)

A new... has been discovered.

They must invest big sums of money.
Je propose : Big sums of money are investing.

Big sums of money are invested (sinon c'est pas du passif )

pourquoi du prétérit passif? la phrase d'origine est au présent ("They shoot..."). ce serait au prétérit, on aurait "They shot" à la forme active

=> donc "Most of the scenes ARE SHOT in a studio" (et non pas "shooted", rholalaaaa, shame on vous, hein )

dans ta phrase au passif, d'où eskil sort, ce "The" initial? il y est pas à l'origine ("They introduced sound in X")

=> donc "Sound was introduced in X"
