There is no dialect in the text. Just specific and rare words of zoology and anatomy, some of them impossible to find in standard dicos. At times, I will try to translate some of these words direclty to French. This might make it easier for you...

Brief history:
The Bucovina Shepherd is a natural race formed in the Carpathians area, in Bucovina, more precisely in the NE of Romania. This race has benefited of a special attention in what its selection and improvement was concerned. In this region, the race is used successfully in guarding herds and property. This dog has also been known under the name of “Dulau" (approx. HOUND) or “Capau”
The first standard was edited back in 1982 and updated in 2001 by the Romanian Dog-Breeders’ Association.
GENERAL ASPECT: large dog, imposing and brave; well marked sexual bi-morphism.
IMPORTANT PROPORTIONS: the proportion between the length of the jaws and the length of the cranium is of 1:1, the length of the body being slightly larger that its height; the angle between the scapula and the humerus being of about 100-110°.
BEHAVIOR / CHARACTER:
 stable, calm, very much devoted, loves children; distrustful towards strangers; excellent guard dog for herds, very courageous and combative with the possible predators (bear, wolf, lynx);
 loud barking; the strangers’ or the animals’ proximity to the territory is signaled by a very load barking, with a low tonality, which can be heard from far away; at nights, he patrols around the property or around the herds.
HEAD: massive, its line it slightly lifted in comparison with the line of the spine.

 Front paws: oval shaped, compacted and strong, with black or gray nails.
