From German to English...sociology

Hello all,

I have this text to translate for my girlfriend. She looks forward to apply to McGill university in Montreal and she must submit a piece of her work. Problem is, she is polish and her English isn't perfect yet. Since my German tends to be on the rough edge, I was wondering if someone could give a hand with this passage.



"Normen dagegen, bereiten sehr viele Schwierigkeiten, weil sie mehr der Psychologie als Soziologie gehören und können zwar im rationalen Modell berücksichtigt werden, als Begrenzung der Wahl von Aktionen, die von Einer Einheit wahrgenommen werden, aber dabei sind wir schon bei einer extrem begrenzten Rationalität und solche Erweiterung des Models ist sehr strittig, wie alle zu umfangreiche Lösungen, weil sie in einem bestimmten Punkt so breit werden, das sie keine interessante Erklärungen generieren lassen."
