STOPPING UNWANTED MAILS
Spamming is an advertising technique whose aim is to flood lots of e-mails in your mail box with a view to forcing you to go to see their products.
The products are often about sex, Like "Do You Want A BIGGER PENIS ???" or the famous eternal youth.Or you are offered the "friendship" of a Russian Lady.
In The picture, the symbole of the spammer is the toy getting out from the screen represented as a surprise. However spam is nowadays everywhere and it is ironical to compare Spam to a Surprise.
In USA, there are local laws in several states obliging spammers to mark their massages "ADV" with a view to permitting net surfers delete them easily, though few obey. Now the U.S Congress wants to stop this or control Spam by federal law. In fact, Spam is a real problem lots of compagny recieve more spam ads than mails from thier customers. It is a problem because these compagnies have already enought administrative work without having sorted the important mails from their customers and the ads.
It is the same way for the private individuals. Do you like surfing on the net surronded by pics of sex and indecent proposals in popup ?
Each times that you propagate chains of mails you give many e-mail adress to the spammers. Besides , when you registrate to a web site, it could give your e-mail adress in exchange of money. As the system of rescencement of your needs by the advertisers calling exchanges.
There are lots of tools to stop spam but the anti-spam compagny sell them for a very expensive price and the upgrades too , in fact, spammers evolves with anti-spam tools and these tools often need upgrades moreover, anti-spam compagny spam you with their own new products. It is really paradoxical.
With the difference of the real mail box you can't put a post - it to notice postman that you don't want ads in your mail box , you are obliging to accept ads in your cyber mail box.
On the other hand, experts say spammers will simply send their messages from somewhere if the U.S Congress could control spam. It is the example by default of the World Of Consomation in which we live. We must buy, always buy and again buy, to force us to buy somethings they stuff OUr head by mass unwanted e-mail in the world wide web.
It is the first law today : we have to make money with all items possible.

I am puzzled with the expression World Of Consomation. Do you mean the french expression société de consommation ? I searched on the Web and I think the translation of this should be consumer society.
