What foreign languages did (or do) you study in school?

I'm not at school, that's finished for me

I've studied :
- English during 9 years
- Spanish during 4 years (but now I'm not able to speak spanish, I simply read it)
- and I learn Romanian on my own since 3 years

It was a dream in chilhood. I study russian ... since 3 days, alone (Assimil on line). But I often listen songs and lieder (specially Glinka and Lina Mkrtchyan, a great contralto). It's realy beautifull.
Really, I just speak french.

I have studied Spanish for five years in school. Outside of the classroom I have studied Japanese, French, Russian, Chinese, a little Arabic and Urdu, and a little Italian too. I love them all! I learn outside of class, mostly by means of native speakers, which can be difficult sometimes. It's a somewhat daunting task because, except for Japanese, I've only just started these languages. (I have four years of Japanese, by the way.) But I wouldn't trade them for anything.

i learn ENGLISH for 11 years(Sydney,London)
GERMAN for 8 years (Salzburg)
SPANISH for 3 years by myself and i speak it quite well,better then german
RUSSIAN for 1 year and i can speak it a bit,but i understand almost everything (slavic group)i find it nice, but Croatian is much more nicer and musical
PORTUGUESEi don't know for how much time, but i understand it very well and i like it very much
