Une recherche sur Google indique que ce serait du roumain.
Ciori = corneilles
mais il faudrait plus de précisions : langue et éventuellement la phrase ou le site où a été trouvée cette expression.

I'd dare say that's a coincidence...

I also think. It's for that I used a conditional.
Cioriciori is unknow on google (except the pseudo of one person)

I did not contradict you...
Honestly now, when I first saw this topic, I myself thought of the similarity with the Romanian word... But I did not make any comment, as I thought of a coincidence and I expected that someone would show up and identify some other language, and then my comment would have been useless...
Anyway, if nobody identifies this word, it could be some nickname (or pseudo) based upon the Romanian word.
And one final mention: although this word normally means "crows", it is extremely often used (in slang) to denote gypsies. (because of their dark complex and hair)

Reassure you, I didn't take him like a contraction (and of all ways, you would perfectly have the right).
I only indicate a possibility, not a certainty. Maybe that your analysis is the good and that it is well about slang.

Il pourrait s'agir aussi d'un dialecte italien méridional: en sicilien, par exemple, /Suri'Suri/ (j'utilise la transcription phonétique SAMPA) est une chanson, «sciuri» signifiant « fleur ».
