I have completed my first novel, working on the sequel, and want to use an ancestors name (from the revolutionary war), as my pen name.
He was Zurishaddai Doty. ( I just want to use the first name.) I understand that it means " The Strength of the Lord is my Rock", however my request is to know how the name is broken down to its individual word/meanings...
a.e. Does 'Zuri', mean 'my rock', or, my strength, ... ?

Tzûrî = my Rock, Shadday = the Almighty (or maybe originally: (of the) mountain)
