ENGLISH TO Yiddish/Hebrew PLEASE

Post by AMIGIRL »

For a college English class, I need to compose a short story and was hoping someone could translate into the Yiddish/Hebrew language the following for me:

“Attention passengers. Welcome aboard Ipana Airlines flight 104, on route to Tel-Aviv. Our estimated arrival time, is scheduled for 10:30am local Tel-Aviv time. Your Captain has just turned on the seatbelt sign. Please make yourselves comfortable and enjoy your flight."

Thanks so much for your help!

Hi. I don't know hebrew nor yiddisch, but i can tell you they are two very different languages. Maybe did you want your translation into yiddish, written in the hebrew script?

Hello Agustin!

I didn't realize those languages were different. What I needed was it to be translated into the language Jewish people would speak in Israel for instance.

Sie kennen sich mit Deutsch auch gut aus?

That is Hebrew.
Yiddisch is the language that used to be spoken by Middle European Jews, based on German and written with Hebrew alphabet, it has almost disappeared now.
