Latin Translation

Post by Mark »

Hi, I am in the process of creating a crest and need to confirm that the motto says what I think it does to save any embarrasment later :)

The motto is: DUM SPIRO, DECERTO

Which I hope says: While I breath, I fight

Can anyone help me with this?!?

Mark.

It seems to be OK, but wait for better advice as for the choice of words

Thanks for your quick response Olivier - We have already created the crest with the motto on, we are just waiting to get shirts made etc with it on! :-o

Fingers crossed!!

Mark.

P.S. Should be "While I breathe, I fight" my spelling mistake!

I would have chosen "pugno" instead of "decerto". But the difference is small.
