Hi native English speaking friends, hi ChrisP, hi Geoffrey, hi Esenthiel.
here are a few lines for you...... , as I promised. Please, give them a look to find out possible errors.

The Italian Health minister Girolamo Sirchia announced that the Superior Health Institute will open an investigation. The istitute is going to inquire over the exact number of elderly people who died this summer and the causes which led to their deaths. The investigation will mainly focus on the major cities of central and south Italy. After that, (the investigation) the superior health institute and the local councils will issue a common project in order to face emergency cases during next summer and reduce deaths.

Hello Laura,

Except for just 2 mistakes, namely 'institute' instead of 'istitute', and the lack of capital letters, when you write the 'superior health institute' (second time), your text looks perfect to me.

Again, I am not a native.... but it's pretty good in any case
