Bonjour, pouvez vous corriger mes erreurs s'il vous plaît dans mon mon commentaire de graphique.

Voici les consignes exactes qui étaient à respecter:

Faites un commentaire de ces deux graphiques en anglais, en insistant sur la complémentarité des deux évolutions.
- Utilisez les verbes suivants: to represent, to skyrocket, to peak, to plummet, to reach a bottom low, to pick up, to fluctuate, to rise, to fall
- Utilisez les prépositions suivantes: at, to, by, between,and, since, for (je n'ai pas réussi à placer ni at ni for)
- attention aux temps utilisés (prétérit avec un passé daté, ou present perfect avec for ou since)

On the first graph is representing the evolution of employment since 1990 until 2001 in United States. we can notice that the unemployment rate skyrocketted between 1990 and 1992, it rose by 2.5 percent and peaked in 1992(7.8%).Then it plummetted in 2000, by reaching a bottom low (3.8%) then skyrocketted until 2001.

On the second graph is representing the evolution of the consumer confidence between 1990 and 2001 in United states. Since 1990 we can notice that the indication of the consumers confidence has fluctuated in a very important way until 1993. The indication was 100 in 1990, then alternated phases of expansion and recession on the graph until 1993. Between 1993 and 1999, the indication increased and peaked in 1999 (140) then fell from 1999 to 2000. The indication of the consumer confidence reached a bottom low in 1991.

We can to draw a parallel between to events: When the employment rate is raised the consumer confidence falls and vice-versa.

Expliquez le jeu de mot:

"the state of the States" means " l'état des Etats Unis", that is to say the economic situation in which is United States. We use twice the word "state" but the sens is completely different.

Voici mes corrections

On the first graph is representing the evolution of employment since 1990 until 2001 in United States. we can notice that the unemployment rate skyrocketted between 1990 and 1992, it rose by 2.5 percent and peaked in 1992(7.8%).Then it plummetted in 2000, by reaching a bottom low (3.8%) then skyrocketted until 2001.

Il manque un sujet dans la première phrase. Si je traduis en français ça donne : sur le premier graphique représente l'évolution... Je te propose par exemple : the first graph represents the evolution of employement FROM. Il faut mieux utiliser le présent simple plutôt que le progressif. THE United States. Il y a toujours un article. En lisant la fin de ton étude je me dis que tu as confondu employement et unemployment... Si tu veux parler du chômage c'est unemployment.

. Tu ne peux pas utiliser since dans cette phrase, puisque la période va de 90 à 93. C'est donc une période bien définie dans le passé = prétérit. we can notice that the indication of the consumers confidence fluctuated in a very important way from 1990 to 1993. J'ai un doute pour "indication". Est-ce que le terme était donné ?

Jamais to après can : we can draw. to = two is. raised = raises

en fait j'ai mis indication dans le sens "indice" car en fait les valeurs ne sont pas précisé dans une unité quelconque donc je ne savais pas vraiment comment faire. Les valeurs vont de 40 à 140 en fonction des années.

Tu peux utiliser since quand tu as le point de départ d'une action qui dure : I've lived here since 1994. Je ne vois pas trop comment on peut l'utiliser pour commenter ton graphique, puisqu'apparemment il va jusqu'en 2001.

For c'est pour une action dont tu précises la durée : I've lived here for 10 years.

Les utilisations de at sont trop variées pour que je puisse faire un inventaire comme ça... Je ne vois pas trop non plus comment l'utiliser ici.

Pour indice, apparemment ça se dit index dans ce domaine.
