pourriez-vous me dire s'il n'y a pas d'erreur au niveau de la construction des phrases ou des formules plus appropriées pour le dire !

the advantages of having a pet at home is to be not alone. But it isn't very interesting to have a snake or a monkey, it's very difficult to play with them. The problem with a dog, it's that we must go out or employ a dog walker. So I think that the pet has got more disadvantages than advantages.

Voici mes petites remarques

the advantages of having a pet at home is (to be not alone) ça sonne bizarre. Mais not to ne alone sonne bizarre aussi. But it isn't very interesting to have a snake or a monkey, it's very difficult to play with them. The problem with a dog, it's that we must go out or (employ) hire a dog walker. So I think that (the pet) pets has (have) got more disadvantages than advantages.
