Je viens d'ecrire un texte en anglais qui resume un article de presse recent. N'etant pas un bilibgue parfait (loins de la), je viens vous demander votre aide pour une correction...
Voici mon texte:
The document, which I will present to you, is an article written in the famous newspaper named Guardian. This article is entitled Milosevic’s blood ‘bore traces of drug’, so it deals with the Milosevic’s death, and how does he die… It was published one week ago, three days after the death of Milosevic.
It aims at making the reader aware of his death, because Milosevic was an important man in the world. He was awful, of course, but important… The journalist tries to make us aware of this event, and what will happen to his family…
First of all, you cannot try to fully understand this article if you do not know who was exactly Milosevic. I am going to read you a short biography of him: (this biography can hardly be said as neutral, but I have done my best for respect the truth)
Slobodan Milosevic was born in 1941 in Pozarevac, the Republic of Serbia, and die days ago… He served as President of Serbia from 1989 to 1997 and then President of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia from 1997 to 2000. He also led Serbia's ruling Socialist Party from its foundation in 1992 to 2002. Milosevic was also called The man who destroyed Yugoslavia for better Serbia dream! He was charged with genocide and war crimes committed during the Balkan wars in the 1990s.
What says exactly this article? How does exactly Slobodan Milosevic die? According to the press, he took lethal medicines. Donald Uges, a toxicologist, found many traces of rifampicin, a powerful drug used in treating leprosy and tuberculosis.
Immediately after male nurses found Milosevic dead in his cell on Saturday, the lifeless’ body undergoes a full autopsy. It revealed he had died of heart failure!
Judge Pocar stressed that the results were preliminary, but reiterated that the autopsy had already disclosed two underlying "heart conditions that Slobodan Milosevic suffered from." These conditions, he said, could "explain the heart attack." The autopsy report did not identify the maladies further.
Even so, the new toxicology results from the new autopsy on Sunday did not resolve the mystery surrounding the presence of an unusual, and potentially dangerous, antibiotic found in one of Mr. Milosevic's earlier blood samples.
Why did these medicines kill Milosevic? The drugs that Milosevic took were medicines breaking down other medicines. Therefore, the liver was extremely active. We know the heart of Milosevic was really weak, and moreover, he had high blood pressure. The drugs were a deathblow for him…
Why the death of Milosevic could be in fact suicide? The Russian government has received on Sunday a letter written by Milosevic himself. In this letter, he said he was being intentionally given the wrong medicines for his incurable disease. On the Internet, we can read: "He got killed. He didn't die. He got killed. There's a murder," told Marko Milosevic…
Who has wrong, who says the truth? We will probably never know the truth. However, he will no longer hurt people, excluding ghost, it sure as hell…
Today, he has been buried in his hometown of Pozarevac (east of Serbia) in presence of tens of thousands of his supporters. His wife Mira and son Marko (living in Moscow) and daughter Marija (in Montenegro) didn’t attend the private funeral fearing the arrest by authorities. Serbian government has refused to organize a state funeral for the man they ousted from the power in October 2000.
To conclude, I would say that the journalist has written a very good neutral article about the death of Milosevic. However, it is not so difficult to have an opinion about that.
As for me, I do not think Milosevic worthy of die, but I think he had to be seriously penalized! I saw several things that done Milosevic, and I made up my one’s mind: He was horrible!
Merci a vous tous pour votre aide!!
