[Sanskrit] Question for Vikr

Post by hon9 »

Vikr, you helped me translate the name 'doreen tay'. Thank you so much for that. However, I got another translation. Pretty much the same as yours, except the first character is different.

Yours: डोरीन्

His: दोरीन्

Could you desribe the difference? Like how differently they sound? Thanks.

Hi hon9,

Please do not ask after a particular person. Vikr knows Sanskrit... but some others know it too ;)

:hello:

anyone who knows the devanagari script can answer :)

the difference is on the "d"; the first one is a strong one and the second one is a light one
