Signification of the arabic word "zamel" in french

hi all, i'm looking for the translation of the word "zamel" en french.
some guys told me that that is an arabic bad word.

My maghrebian-french friends, as I was a child, often said something like "zahmah" or "zarmah" which could be the "zamel" you mention, for it is quite hard to transcript the dialectal arabic word used by them, that I only heard.

Be that as it may, this "zarmah" is an explanation without signification "well now !", used for suprise, astonishment, anger, etc.

no, it's "samah" which mean, excuse me!
"zamel" means "gay"

the French word "zamel" comes from Maroc and in French it means "a homosexual,a gay"

other French equivalents: zamel= pédé (PD), tapette etc...
