easy - can someone translate "faith" for me
I want a tattoo of the christian fish and the hebrew word "faith" inside of it since it is the language of Jesus. Can someone help?

The so-called christian fish comes indeed from the (ancient) greek acronym IKHTHUS ("fish")ANTHOS wrote:for info, Jesus Christ also spoke greek and the fish symbol is derived from the ancient greek word meaning fish, whichis an acronym for jesus christ god's son saviour (in greek)
Iesous (Jesus)
KHristous (Christ)
THeiou (of God)
Uios (son)
Sôter (saviour)
For first christian communities were oftn greek-speaking, as was large towns (Alexandria, Caesarea, Antiochus, Edessa, etc.) on eastern part of Mediterranean see at time.
But it is very unlikeliy that the son of a carpenter, from the tiny town of Nazareth, did speak greek himself.
Hi ought to speak aramaic and hebrew for holy things. No more.
