Would someone please translate the phrase "Word of God" into Hebrew for me? Thanks!!!!!!

That is a difficult translation as it depends on the religious position. A Jewish person will avoid to pronounce or write God. He will say "the Name", or change a letter in God's name, for example Eloqim instead of Elohim. A Christian will use Yhwh vocalized Yahweh or Elohim.

Well, let's see... In my case, we will be creating banners in the original Biblical languages, so I suppose we should do it in the way the Hebrews would have done it. If possible, I would love to use the Hebrew letters also.

So I suppose I am looking for "Word of the Name", using the Hebrew letters.

Any thoughts? Thanks!!

or you could write _dvr y'_ ('דבר י) with y' for yhwh, and say _devar Adonai_

In a Christian perspective I would translate it as "Davar Elohim", although I now wonder if "word of" shouldn't be "dvar". Let's wait for someone who can write that in Hebrew script.

דבר אלהים - .dvr alhym. /davar Elohim/. we think it would be devar or dvar, because of the construct form of the noun, but we think it can be davar.

Word of the Name -> דבר השם - davar hashem, devar hashem, dvar hashem.
