Hebrew Advice

Post by Holden »

Hi all ,

I was wondeing whether a hebrew speak could help me.

When trying to convert the phrase, 'The Lord Is My Shephard' into hebrew/ancient hebrew I was told to look at : -

I was wondering whether anyone knew which of the two translations is correct/more accurate and what the difference between them is.

Thanks for any help :drink: ,

yes, the first translation there is modern Hebrew, and the second one is ancient (Biblical) Hebrew ה' רועי = the Lord is my shepherd (first word: the "Lord" = YHWH is not written in full, out of reverence for God's name)
