Here is what I want to say to a female friend:

I hope you like the CDs. Thank you for being a friend.

And this is what I translated it to:

Eu esperança você parecido a CDs. Obrigado para ser uma amiga.

Is this correct? I'm sending a gift (some music CDs) to a friend in Brazil and wanted to put a small note in Portuguese.

No it is not correct.

Espero que Você gosta dos CDs. Obrigado para ser uma amiga.

And this will be correct if your friend is female.
