English to Old Norse or Old Icelandic

Post by Luthiena »

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could translate this:
"So it is, and so it will be. And so Ragnarok, the Twilight of the Gods, begins."

into Old Norse or Old Icelandic for me. It's for a short story I've written.

Many thanks! :D

Here is a possible translation :

"Svá er þat, ok svá skal þat vera. Ok svá hefr upp Ragnarøkr."

Since Ragnarok means "Twilight of the Gods", I have translated it only once.
