I'd Like Some Help With Dutch Slang Translations

Post by MAvericker »

Hello. I'm interested in and am doing research on Dutch youth, street and college slang for a porject I'm working on.

I'd like to know what are Dutch slang terms and expressions for:

tough guy
tough girl
tough woman
strong guy
strong girl
strong woman
guy prone to fighting
girl prone to fighting
cool guy
cool girl
gangster
punk
delinquent boy
delinquent girl
powerfully-built male
powerfully-built female?

Please list as many Dutch slang terms and expressions for each term as possible. Thank you.

If many languages are going to be involved, please open ONE topic in the forum "all languages".

And please refresh your mind by reading the private message you've received the 2006.12.25 from Beaumont.

Do you mean I should set up an "all general slang" thread listing these terms?

No, just a "very specific slang" listing, as the terms are always the same (tough girl, tomboy, etc.).

Hello. Are there any Dutch speakers here who can help me out with my questions?
