[Danish] Children's Christmas book

Post by eileenjoan »

I am making a book for a Christmas present and wonder if someone can translate:
"I am your heroic father."
Into Danish please

Jeg er din tapre fader (I am your valiant/courageous father)

The courageous Taylor is called "Den tapre skrædder in Danish
Father can be both "far" and "fader", the latter is more solemn.
Heroic is "heroisk" in Danish, but to use it in your sentence is a bit clumsy.

You can also use "Jeg er din heltemodige fader"
It means "I am your heroically courageous father"

Jeg er din tapre fader (I am your valiant/courageous father)

The courageous Taylor is called "Den tapre skrædder in Danish
Father can be both "far" and "fader", the latter is more solemn.
Heroic is "heroisk" in Danish, but to use it in your sentence is a bit clumsy.
