Hope this helps. I can't figure out what "dolog" is, maybe someone else has a suggestion. Russian has formal and informal forms of "you." It is normal to switch to the informal form as you become friends with someone, while the formal form is reserved for acquaintances and business relationships, though age also plays a role. The phrase "chto ti" is hard to translate. It is an affectionate response to the previous statement that might literally be translated as "why did you [say that]?" often in the sense of brushing aside praise or apologies.

Aw, come on(using informal you) - sorry you(formal) - or may I say you(informal)- mean that you haven't yet gotten yourself set up (i.e. found a job, apartment etc.). I am so old that I've forgotten. It's a joke. It would have been possible to send the photo, but I don't know how to do that. Believe me, I'm very ashamed, but I'm a such a Neandrethal (literally "aboriginal"). Dolog must be a misprint for dolgo(how long in english).
And the last sentence should be - I lost my family when I was still in Russia...

So "I'm waiting for you to say something. You're still going to be looking for a long time."
And you're right about the last sentence. I assumed the writer was in Russia and couldn't make sense out of it.
