Hi elie
Selv tak - det var så lidt!
I don't think it is specifically Norwegian to have a cluck-cluck bottle, but perhaps it was popular for a longer time or in a later period there?
Regarding the translation - I think the difficulty in reading the original text led to:
I. Jegeren Flaske mit Navn er Kluk
Which correctly translates into
"
The hunter bootle my name is cluck"
Where I remember from bottles I have seen that it should read
"Jeg er en flaske mit navn er kluk"
- earlier all nouns in Danish was written with capital first letters.
Changed in Denmark in 1956 I think.
Another alternative
I am a bottle - my name is cluck
my motto is this - the thirst to block
my advice is this- don't do it for long
or you may be driven to pleasure and song.
Cheers
