An expression

Post by gramie »

Hi all, I'm looking for an expression and I don't want to know the meaning, as I'm fluent in both French and English. I just want to know the current expression. An equivalent expression would do. I just can't put my finger on it. ;)
Here it is, in bold, in it's contect:
En 1934, il dépose au Groenland pour un hivernage un jeune explorateur talentueux : Paul-Emile Victor; la relève est assurée.
:baby: Doesn't this little emoticon just crack you up? I can just about hear him/her laugh! But then maybe it's because I'm an old gramma(51). ;)
And thanks! :hello:
