Sicilian: Translate this!!

Someone once told me that "fijolek" translated into English means violet. Is this true!?!?

As far as I know it's a Polish surname...

Word "fijołek" (notice 'l' letter with bonus!) means 'violet' in English - but in the meaning of flower, not the colour. In case of any questions concerning Polish->English, English->Polish translations, I'm now waailable here on forum (and under email), so you can ask me directly :-)).
