Good morning.
Would anyone be so kind to translate following place names fm english to
sanskrit, pls? Actually, instead of its writting in the sanskrit alphabet,
I'd need it's approximative transcription in latin alphabet according to
the english or french (because I see there are plenty of french in this
forum) grammar.
Here goes the list:
"The dark-wingeg hill "(or the hill of the dark-winged ones)
"Forest-dwellers' water"
"Ancient town"
Thanks in advance

Actually, this website (lokanova) is originally French. And I am too, what you can ascertain from pityful English.

I cannot help you at the time being : I need some dictionnaries, and I am afraid that the major part of the University libraries are closed for sommer holidays. But I will try to translate these names however for the next week.
Juste a point of clarification : there is no "french" transcription of the so-called "devanagari" alphabet. There is an international and official one, used by the scholars, and that one, that indian people draw on for current indian languages, and specially for proper nouns.

PS : Comme d'hab, est-ce que les autres francophones pourraient me traduire les noms propres en question SVP ? Je crois avoir compris, mais...

Aprox: coline de cuex aux ailes noirs
"Forest-dwellers' water" je traduiait par "source des habitants des forets"
"abcient town" je pense pasq que celà vous ai possé de pb: cité/ville ancienne.
