I'm new to this, so be gentle with me. I have a new female friend in russia. Her name is Fauzija. Do you have any idea how this name would be written in russian (cyrilic). Thanks... :moua:

hello, welcome :hello:

just a tiny question: is that a name or a nickname?
if it is a name then it is a fairly unknown name to me....but if to spell it as it is in English then it would be Фаузия. but i`ll see what i can find...

ok, i`ve done a little research here....and what i have found out is this:

it is a name, however, it is not a russian name but a muslim one...and it does not have the analogy in Russian - you can just spell it using cyrilic.
Фаузия is the right version of it in Russian spelling. and i also found out that it means "lucky/winning".
